Hey Tony, nice to have you.  I just joined this year and have enjoyed the rides that I was able to go on.  Lots of good information on the site and good guys to ride with.  Looking forward to better riding weather.

The Arkansas 500 is happening April 12-14th.  I am thinking of signing up to go on this ride.  Curious to see if anyone else has ever done this event.  Looks like a good time.

Welcome to the site. I'm up here just north of Chanute - so not very far from you. I know the weather is not all that conducive to a lot of riding right now. But spring is just around the corner!!

Hello, Sycamore Ks rider. I ride a fully farkled Gen 1 KLR that is more capable than it's rider. Looking to get out on the backroads SE KS/NE OK next spring, or any time weather permitting.

Ride Planning / Roundup Feedback

Thanks everybody for your feedback at the event, I've worked a lot of that information in to the locations; removing inaccessible locations, and moving some check in points.

If you have anything in particular you'd like to remind me of, please post that here.

I'd also like to know - would it be more (or less) fun if I included a GPS track? To me, part of the fun is in planning a route to decide where you'd want to go, and which points you want to collect; but that's not necessarily true for everyone, and it seemed like not many people actually planned a route.

What do you think? Which would you prefer?

I think they just couldn't get that 1970's engine to meet emissions anymore :(

I am kind of surprised that team green didn't have a replacement ready to go, but nothing they showed this year at EICMA was a suitable replacement with their 17" front wheels.

Got a call from Tom and seems Nelle is happy with her new rider. Said he put it back to stock height and added a tooth to the front sprocket. Is planning on doing some riding this next week as the weather looks promising.
