Thanks Marc, I'm looking forward to the next event! :)

I have a thread going asking for some input on the scavenger hunt app from last year as well.

I've removed all the stuff that I could remember folks said they couldn't get to, and moved a few markers; and I'm looking for new things to add in more of a region around Council Grove, rather than extending so far south.

The Cottage Inn has asked me if they can get an idea of how many plan on getting a room for the event. Th e prices for the room are from $65-150, so far we should get a 10% discount, but it could go up depending on the number of rooms we use. Please let me know if you plan on getting a room so I can let them know and see how much of a discount we can get.

CAMPING INFO

The lake is closed due to the flooding, except I just called to speak with them and found that the Kanza View area is open for primitive tent camping & day use only.

This is a first-come-first-serve area with no reservations.

We'll meet for breakfast at the Saddlerock Cafe at 8AM, ride to follow breakfast!

Marc will have a scenic ride if you don't feel like trying your hand at the scavenger hunt.

I just spoke with a Park Ranger at Council Grove. Canning Cove is expected to open on 7/1 for GROUP SITES ONLY. If the Group Site is not reserved, then camping sites are available first-come-first-serve.

I don't own or really even know how to use one to be honest, but I can find the North Star at mid day in a Kansas prairie which proved to be valuable at last years event. (Uhmm no Dane....> is west :))

I plan on attending and would be happy to join any group. I know most of the area pretty well.

I am planning on staying overnight, likely Saturday, if anyone is interested in splitting a room since camping looks to be at a minimal.
I had a blast last year with our small band of 3. Was fun to get lost together and find our way home.
