is it gonna be similar tracks to last year? Meaning Can my wife and 14 year old handle it? I thought last year was a good ride. Other than picking up that one guy on his Vstrom...
There is absolutely no excuse for what I am about to do.

It will be the same type of terrain indeed. Many new tracks and more sight seeing and overlooks.
I have one track I have yet to check out so not sure about that. Hope to get out in the next week or so on 4 wheels to scout.

Anything like going up the side of Texico hill, there is a go around and I will do my best to announce prior to any Vstrom or such ;)

I still am confident on the weather for this date, however, if there is lots of rain prior....that will change a lot and maybe scrub the ride.
I am still not fully recovered from my foot, which caused more problems due to my need to be mobile and still work for my former employer. Really tore my hips up and my gate.
I am trying to get my legs back under me. Not a problem going, simply stopping.

Also have an idea of perhaps having a support crew meet for lunch with grilling dogs or something simple in the middle of the flint hills.

Emporia Sale Barn has a breakfast buffet that we could start off with perhaps. They have plenty of parking for those hauling in.

Give me some input....
