Iím sure we will be fine. Maybe make a list of things to bring per bike. No reason for every bike to bring a tire pump, or no need for everyone to bring there own cooking items. But I think it will be ok to NOT share cloths !

I spoke with our possible Jeeper, it looks like his Household Finance Committee decided that they're going on an Alaska cruise instead, so he in all likelihood will not be able to come along. Looks like it will be just bikes!

Bikes / Yamaha Tenere 700 USA Pricing and Availability announced!

Yamaha has announced "2021 Models - Available Early Summer 2020" (how does that work?) for $9,999 MSRP.

Looks like an excellent modern machine - 689cc "Cross Plane" twin, adjustable forks, great fuel range, and adjustable ABS. Having no rider aids (traction control, modes, etc), which a lot of folks don't want anyways, keeps the price down.

Welcome to the site, glad to have you! There are several riders on this forum just over in Garnett, so there's close by folks to ride with.

The Garnett Lions club has also been putting on an annual Dual Sport Safari that's been a great event. That is usually around June.

Introduce Yourself / Noob From Greeley

Hi fellas. Short version of the post: bought dirt bike, who wants to ride?

Long Version: I live in greeley kanasas. This coming weekend I'll be picking up a plated DRZ400E this weekend and hopefully an xt225 for my fiance sometime in the late winter/early spring. My bike riding journey started just in may of this year with a vstrom 650. I loved riding that bike and put about 15k miles on it up to late september, mostly commuting, but a few longer trips including one to colorado. I spent some time in the dirt with it but I was VERY uncomfortable doing so. Since I was so uncomfortable in the dirt I decided to get a cruiser. I bought a vtx1300s, I hated it. I realize now i definitely want to get back into dirt. I have basically no experience on dirt bikes but ive been riding quads since I could walk. Im reeeallly looking forward to riding and exploring dirt and backroads, if you are looking for new places to explore I know the roads and trails in and around southern franklin and northern anderson co quite well and would definitely love a more experienced rider to ride them with me. After I have the basics down im excited for group rides and more challenging terrain and explorations and I love motocamping. I look forward to hearing from you all.
